Gary Goddard forms Gary Goddard Productions and opens a small office complex on Sunset Boulevard where he and a small team of former-Disney creative staff members start work on new projects for The Universal Studios Tour and for Six Flags Atlanta. This same year, “Pop Goes America”, the first GGP-produced live musical show, opens in Gatlinburg Place to rave reviews including “...better than the best Opryland has to offer” in the Knoxville Times.
