Master Planning, Architectural Design, Urban Design & Planning

The Design & Planning group supports the creative teams in each of our design divisions, providing planning and architectural oversight for entertainment, hospitality and branding experiences. Our team successfully integrates our work with local design firms and government agencies, ensuring that our work meets all regulatory guidelines for any city or country where our work is being developed. In the last year, we have created master plans for three destination resort projects in Chengdu, China; two theme park projects in Shanghai, China; two new theme park and resort projects in Dubai and Qatar; a theme park, retail and resort complex destination in Uppsala, Sweden; and a major new casino in Las Vegas.

The results of our planning and design work can be seen in the many projects that are already open throughout the world, from Crossroads of the World in Jakarta to the
Georgia Aquarium and the Deepo 3D Theatre in Atlanta.
In addition to Hershey’s Times Square in New York, the Galaxy Mega Resort is currently under construction in Macau, China. As we move into 2010, the Design & Planning team is at work on a wide variety of projects including: several urban design and planning assignments for “New City” developments in China and Korea; creating the master plan for a major new theme park and destination resort in China; developing the theme park master plan for a major new park in Dubai.
